Alexis Massey is the second shooter for Midnight Magic Studios. Alexis is a graduate of the University of Tennessee’s Journalism and Electronic Media program with a concentration in visual communication. Having focused on documentary and short films, she approaches weddings with the same creativity, passion, and attention to detail as her independent film making.
Alexis is enchanted with creative film and storytelling. Captivated by the camera from a very young age, she has spent her life in front of or behind the lens creating and capturing moving moments. This led to a very natural transition into wedding and event videography.
She has been working with Midnight Magic Studios since August 2008. Alexis has an amazing eye for detail and that shows in her work both behind the camera and away from it. Alexis is not just doing a job when she is with the brides, she is helping the bride have the best day possible. Alexis has been known to help tie bows on bridesmaids dresses, locate lost rings, or fix a loose strap on a dress. Alexis has even gone above and beyond when she helped a young bride out when she needed it the most. On the wedding day, the make up artist preformed a very poor job. The bride was heart broken and her mother was in tears. Alexis put the camera down, grabbed what make up she could find and did a beautiful job. The bride was glowing when she walked the aisle.
Alexis is a great addition to Midnight Magic Studios and will be a great addition to you on your wedding day.
